After a few months trialling Scratch Nights at the Understudy at Bats we are happy to announce a new season taking place on the first Wednesday of every month, after the last show in the theatre.

We have found this forum to be incredibly rewarding as a testing ground for new ideas and material - some of which have taken us by surprise to spawn whole new works. So, we want to open up the format to include several different groups or individual artists each night.

We invite all performing artists who want to test something out in front of an audience to join us in this format. The only restriction on what you perform is that it must be a genuine experiment through performance, between 5 and 20 minutes long.  Contact Joel at jsbaxendale@gmail.com for more details on how to be involved.
